    • may be this is because UFONE included hidden CHARGES for the 3 month internet service for which saying ” FREE ” … :)

    • Yeah, you forgot to add the customs charges and the sales tax these guys need to pay when importing and selling these.
These aren’t meant for the average Pakistani. They are targeted at the high-end consumers who pay way more [without official support] for such devices when they buy them from abroad and get them imported.

    • Good info. However these prices quoted are without tax. Knowingly I can assure that you have to add 14.2% tax (VAT and Others) and 12$ per piece shipping charges. For iPad Air2 (wi-fi plus cellular) the price comes to 729 $. Then there is 15.28% sales tax in Pakistan and final price would be 840$. That comes to 85485 Pak rupees. So honestly Ufone isn’t charging more. And yes the iPads imported through illegal ways are available at cheap rate. But remember they are illegal and without any warranty. :)

    • In one word; Yes. People will buy these from them.
For people who can afford Apple products, this a really good deal.

  • in pakistan an average well off person earns from 50,000 to 1 lac! u are asking him to get something like this by paying one month of his salary! how exactly is he suposed to pay for the rest of his bills

    • Apple products are not for an average well off Pakistani person! They’ve positioned themselves as a premium product which only the spoiled rich brats can afford!

      • u r right in this that in pakistan it is only for the rich clientele! especially the macbooks

      • Is that what you think when you see Apple users around you? That they are spoiled rich brats???

That says MUCH about your mentality, my friend. Not so much about the Apple users.

      • Dear Abdul Jabbar, brother it’s not the way to address your fellows. You have the ones who have more than you and then you have many many more for whom reaching at your stage is like a dream. Let’s not be rude. Kindly don’t call your fellow brothers like that. Apple products are undoubtedly loveable and many have bought them after saving for months. It’s like a now a days dream for many as was buying a bike – long time ago. Others have money to afford it. But that’s what status Allah SWT has given to them. Let’s not indulge into unnecessary fights.

    • These aren’t meant for the average Pakistani. They are targeted at the high-end consumers who pay way more [without official support] for such devices when they buy them from abroad and get them imported.
Apple products are never meant for the average citizen; whether he be an American, Pakistani or a European.

      • you are wrong in saying that it isnt meant for an average american european and chinese! low paid workers in these countries can even buy these since it is priced accordingly! in US for example the lowest pay is around 2000 dollars, a janitor makes that much! so he can easily afford it! in pakistan a manager makes 1 lac, but since our currency is so weak, it is not strong enough for us to buy a US product

        • Janitor 2000$????? Which state and place mate? And I serve with people earning way more. Average 3-4K. Still unaffordable unless you buy a plan. Plan free – no one buys even in US. DAMN EXPENSIVE. While here we all have to buy plan free.
Plan free is damn expensive everywhere.

  • Ufone is selling these ipad’s very expensively.Few another retailers are selling these ipad’s in very low prices like ipad air 2 16GB wifi+cellular in 65000 but ufone ko ab admi kia khe

  • Yahan tak warranty ki bat he to apple ki products bht hi kam kharab hoti hn or phr pakistan mn ager sales tax bhi lagaya jai to phr bhi itni ziada price nhe bntin lakin ufone walay dono hathon se lootne ka soch rhe hn

  • Drop me message on WhatsApp I will call you to active your calling option +923428775703…

  • Iphone and ipad hasn’t been officially launched in pakistan ! Networks have bulked buyed them from middle east and thats the reason they are versions with FaceTime Blocked on it…
Check the Apple website… Do you find Pakistan in the list ? No

Hope that clarifies for people claiming higher prices being charged.

  • Who says FaceTime is restricted? I use iMessage and FaceTime every day. On Warid LTE and PTCL broadband. What are Ufone guys talking about?

The F seriously is this how you facilitate people really? Shame on those who proposed this to ufone and will do the same with other telcos ughhhh I have got iPhone 6 Plus in 94000 with 1 year Apple warranty from daraz.pk apart from there 3 month warranty and ghhhhh it sucks big time that ufone targetted upper middle class waow
