State Bank of Pakistan has developed its official twitter account to post all relevant updated information. Governor SBP Ashraf Mahmood Wathra inaugurated the account by sending the first ever message as ‘SBP is pleased to join the social media on its 67th anniversary.’ SBP was inaugurated on July 1, 1948 by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
In the inauguration ceremony of twitter account the Deputy Governor (Policy) Mr. Riaz Riazuddin and other senior officials were also present.
