Local IT companies are very much active in international market as well as local market but usually stick to the private sector. However, this news is a sign that projects of public sector are being done with equal spirit. This example should be followed by other companies so they can play their due role in building up Pakistan.
It is hoped that digitalization of land record system will have a long-term favorable impact on the economy through transparency and reduction in corruption.

Good initiative. Technology will really help Pakistan. We should also work to bring or at least have their alternative of services like uber and Airbnb.
Why PITB didn’t get this opportunity ?
It was given to PITB which failed to deliver. It moved to another body (a premier institute in Lahore I do not want to disclose) which also failed. Not they outsourced this time to a stable and oldest software giant. Makes sense now?
I know so many people in PITB and 90% of them are unprofessional, “sifarshi” and they all have some serious attitude problems.
