Infinix Unveils its Note 2 LTE Smartphone in Pakistan

After the success of Infinix Hot 2, Hot Note and Zero 2, Infinix Mobility this week unveiled its latest smartphone, the Infinix Note 2 LTE in Pakistan. The Infinix Note 2 will be available on Daraz.PK exclusively just like the previous models. Word on pricing isn’t available as of yet.

The Infinix Note 2 is a massive LTE-enabled smartphone with a 5.98 inch HD screen and slim bezels to maximize the display to screen ratio.

On the inside, the Infinix Note 2 runs on the MT6753 Mediatek chipset with an octa-core processor that’s clocked at 1.3 GHz.

Infinix Mobility says that with the Cortex-A53 64 bit architecture, the Note 2 CPU is 37% faster than Hot Note when it comes to processing data.

There’s 16GB internal ROM, while the RAM comes in at 1GB or 2GB depending on the either of the two variants available for customers.

The Note 2 LTE also sports an advanced 13-Megapixel rear camera and an optimized 3P lens of 2-Megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The rear camera features a Samsung S5K3M2 ISOCELL CMOS sensor and 5P lens with an f/2.0 sensor aperture offering a 78 degree shooting angle.

The Note 2 comes with a gigantic battery of 4040mAh with fast charging technology. Infinix says that Note 2 comes with dual IC-charge design, enabling NOTE2 to charge in a flash.

Company claims that under room temperature conditions (25°C), 15 min charges 1000mAh that is sufficient for up to 8 hr of talk time. Phone charges up to 97% with a 60 min charge, while a full charge could take up to 90 minutes.

  • Charges upto 97% in 60mins and the remaining 3% in 30mins. I think it’s just a software trick.

  • I wonder if it really supports up to just 32 gb of expandable memory. This might not be true.

  • A bit off the topic, but recently got Infinix Hot-2 from daraz.pk on their sale price. Everything works, accept Wi-Fi, which only works when I am right under the Access Point. Wondering if anyone else had the same experience?

  • its a good phone … of course it lacks a few amenities like dual tone flash and finger print scanner , FHD display … along with the ram being 3 GB and camera setup being decent (it should be 6p lens for rear and 5p lens for front along with flash for front cam. Rear cam should use OmniVision sensor.)

Despite these shortcomings its BIGGEST flaw is its pricing ! it costs a staggering 17k (16.9k on Daraz) when it should NOT be a penny beyond 15k for the hardware on offer …

it is ofcourse a breath of fresh air to see phone makers FINALLY ditch the pathetic old SoCs for newer 64 bit cpus ! this should serve as a lesson-heavy precedent to similar phone makers for offering better hardware , nifty functionalities and premium build quality at the least possible expenditure.

      • At the moment ?
i’d say wait for the CES 2016 which lasts into mid jan. ALOT of phones to be revealed then !

but if you’re truly desperate and in a hurry go for Redmi Note 3 or Meizu M2 note , that is if you can import from china. Otherwise Lenovo P1m and Qmobile z10 look good for value and even the Infinix Note 2 ain’t half bad !
There are brands like Qiku and Cong , but i don’t know how good they are or even if they’ll work outside china. Coolpad Dazen Note 3 is another option but you ought to research more for it.

problem is , there isn’t anything special going on atm in the sub $200 category. i’d wait till March to see whats genuinely good for value for some time to come.

        • Ok thank you for the detailed reply. I’ll wait not in hurry n let’s see what offerings are coming. Thank ypu once again.

        • PTA Does not Allow to import phones directly impose dutiesa nd a big clearance because phones are included in minatory equipment so dont suggest direct import

          • yeah , a little late to the party… everyone here pretty much know i loathe the customs for their draconian taxation policies. Im not suggesting anything regarding import , just telling him his options.

i heard there are ways to fool the customs by declaring lower prices , parcel declaration and stuff like that …. but nothing for sure.

but what on earth is minatory equipment ?!

            • i think samsung is only using its name.very costly brand.
yasir olz give me suggestion about qmobile z10.
what u think about that mob

              • spec-wise its v.good. infact it was the FIRST phone in Pakistan using the MTK 6753 , i believe… since samsung uses Qualcomm and Exynos , apple is hooked to A-chips and Sony afaik , dint use the 6753.

so to say , its v.impressive on paper , you should take a look at its specs on whatmobile . com and if u can get it BELOW 18k with some bargaining from the shopkeeper , i’d say its a steal for the specs. careful with the 2900 mAH battery tho …

  • price tag seems to be awesome o.O I might consider it in my wish list if it really would be around 15-16K.

  • happy user of infinix , my hote note working perfect so far specially this batter charging and backup think is very nice.

  • Does it have any power profile? If yes then try changing the profile to best one. Also try another wifi Hotspot. Download “engineer mode” app from playstore to alter some wifi settings. I take no responsibility if something goes wrong.

  • Kya mjhe yhn koi bta skta hai k k set daraaz.pk pe.kb available hoga…aur kya koi ye set use krrha hai?

  • Pls brothers we in africa are floating cost of comments language barrier and we are interested in knowing how great or cheap Pakistanis are finding x500 note3. English advise..lol

    • are u KIDDING ME !?
everything in Pakistan is at a PREMIUM ! everything is EXPENSIVE !

how about YOU tell me how cheap is the infinix HOT s ?! with fingerprint ?!
