Federal Board of Education Launches New Online Services to Facilitate Students

Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has launched an online application service which will assist thousands of students who are educated under the board’s supervision. The online application services will facilitate the students in their examination process, admissions and result related activities.

Students will now be able to apply for rechecking their results, document verifications, roll number slip correction from the FBISE website. The website will also offer services such as:

  • Online appointments
  • Applications for Migration or NOC Certificates
  • Syllabus and papers,
  • Date sheets
  • Online fee challan forms,
  • Admission form submissions,
  • Name corrections,
  • UFM cases,
  • Fee and scholarship information

Those interested can visit the FBISE online section (online.fbise.edu.pk) and download the challan form before they start filling an online application. Online forms have to be filled online and do not require the students to send physical copies to the Federal Board. After the challan is paid at the nearest HBL Branch, the students will be required to enter the receipt number in the relevant online form. The form can be submitted online and the status of the application can be viewed on the website.

FBISE has also added an Institution Information Corner on its website which will let them check and update their affiliation status with the board. Institutes will also be able get nomination forms, view all board notifications, analyze result statistics and submit online admission applications.

A new live chat popup has been added to the FBISE website as well. The board’s staff will be available to assist and facilitate students and other stakeholders via online chat during office working hours.

According to FBISE Secretary, Muhammad Sarwar, the online services are still in the testing phase. Hundreds of applications have been received using the online system and more improvement will be required to make the service a permanent feature and help the maximum number of students, he said.

The launch of these online services will surely help students from distant areas who would otherwise be required to travel to Islamabad for these applications. Students with access to internet can now submit these applications from the comfort of their homes.
