LG Electronics (LG) has announced the launch of a customer-friendly service program in Pakistan to provide technical assistance across LG products to its customers, free of charge.
The service will be routed through LG’s authorized service centers across Pakistan.
As per the program, LG will provide free service for LG products including air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, microwave ovens and LED/LCD).
The program also offers a 50 percent special discount on spare parts and free labor, which will be conducted in three major cities Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi based on terms and conditions.
Customers can visit following LG stores in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Karachi to get their repair work done, totally free of charge.

It is very frustrating that LG is not selling its mobile phones here. And the service center that it had for phones in Latif Center, Gulberg, is also gone. If marketing through normal channels is too difficult, it my sell its phones online on its own or in collaboration with online shopping services.
Please don’t get deceived by just a marketing campaign by LG.
LG after Sales Services are extremely disappointing not only in Pakistan but also internationally. Please see independent ratings and reviews. Customers paying a lot of money are not getting things repaired, I don’t know how LG is going to accommodate free customers.
I got my AC repaired in more than 2 months only after my repeated calls and visits at Service Center in Satellite Town Rawalpindi . And after repair the AC worked for just one day. Other customers on the service centre were also complaining.
There service centre don’t have backup UPS or Generator, you can imagine how they will be managing customers.

This is not true!! At least, it does not apply to washing machine repairs in Lahore. I recently made a service complaint for my front load washing machine and the first thing I was told that there would be Rs600 visiting charges ( whether they find a solution or not ). More importantly, they do not promise a time of visit as they chose a time of their convenience which may be 3 days from the date of booking.
