With the launch of the company’s website, Orient.com.pk, the technology group has been setting new benchmarks for online retail by local companies. The company started selling its products directly to the consumers through a purpose built website where it announced the release of its new DC Inverter AC last week with a lifetime warranty.
The company, since then, has gone to break its own record in DC Inverter Sales, outselling the last quarter for 2016.
“I think that we are seeing a mass scale adoption now. Inverters have been in the market for a while now and people are slowly becoming less wary of the new technology,” says a company spokesperson.
“With the lifetime warranty we have put our money where our mouth is. We are saying that we have the absolute best and the most reliable product in the market.”
The move has been welcomed by consumers and Orient.com.pk has seen a quantifiable increase in DC Inverter sales,
“Orient Electronics is a local brand. We understand the local market and its consumers. We develop products after analyzing local issues and problems”, says the company’s spokesperson, “The sales have come in because people trust the Orient DC Inverter. I am sure we are going beat all previous sale numbers for online sales.” he adds.
Orient Electronics was one of the first companies to bring in the DC Inverter ACs in Pakistan, and while others are following suit, the company is determined to stay ahead of the curve.
“We brought DC Inverter ACs to Pakistan because we wanted to address the electricity problem, and with this new DC Inverter we have a product that not only promises quality but delivers on it as well,” says the company’s spokesperson on the new DC Inverter range that now comes with platted fins with rust resistant compounding.

Publicly traded companies are obligated to release sales figures for their shareholders. And these figures are deduced after audit, not out of their behind. At least that’s how it works.
This however is purely a shill piece. Notice, they haven’t mentioned any numbers, just the statement “The company, since then, has gone to break its own record in DC Inverter Sales, outselling the last quarter for 2016.”
So hypothetically, if last quarter, they sold 3 ACs, and this time they sold 4, they’ve broken their own record.

I just hope, this lifetime (technically “unlimited”) isn’t the same as PTCL/3G/4G Data Plans, which all comes with *Terms Apply, FUP 10 years only. Would I be able to claim warranty in the year 2117? If not, claim it 10 years, 15 years, 20 years, 25 years, or whatever the FUP/Terms are! Be honest with your customers.
The trickiest part in this or any other “LIFETIME GUARANTEE” is the word Life time. Whose life time? Customer or Product?
It is 99% product lifetime. which will be 3 years, 5 years or may 7 years and that’s it.

but we are fool and company isn’t, u can ask from dealers about the lifetime warranty and they will tell u according to their ease. like 2 3 4 or 5 years but they will never say k 50 years warranty.
why would they sell a product with lifetime warranty, who will buy the new product then :D
Hi Arslan, I am a representative of Orient Electronics. I assure you that this warranty is legit (unlike the data caps on PTCL unlimited connections). To clarify during the use of the AC (anytime) if the compressor fails you will get a replacement (it does not matter if it fails after 20, 30, 50 or even 100 years). So its literally lifetime of the product!
Well I wonder how they are claiming that. Every Pakistani white goods company uses the cheapest quality plastic available to them. The copper piping in these AC’s and infact most of the other ACs these days is very thin to reduce the electricity bill. These pipes last for a maximum of 6~7 years under normal use… there is something missing in it.
We have upgraded everything in the new Ultron AC. We have used rust resistant compounding for the fins and the piping to ensure that the AC has a long life! The Orient Ultron will be hence available in BlueFin and GoldFin versions! This is the most reliable product in the market and we are putting our money where our mouth is! :D
