Uber Launches in Islamabad, Rawalpindi with 5 Free Rides for Everyone

After a long wait, Uber has finally arrived in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

In a blog post, the company said:

We are thrilled to announce uberGO is now available in Islamabad, connecting Pakistan’s twin cities to safe, reliable, and affordable rides.

The process should be familiar to anyone who who has ever used a ride sharing service. When you book a ride through Uber, you will be able to see your driver’s photo, the license plate, type of car and even follow its progress on the app as it makes its way towards you.

”Share my ETA” allows you to tell your family and friends exactly where you are and how long it will take to get to them.

To mark the occasion, Uber is giving away free rides this weekend (from 12 pm Thursday, April 27th until 11:59 pm Sunday, April 30th).

Just open the Uber app on your phone and punch in the promo code “UBERLOVESISB” to get 5 free rides worth Rs. 250 each.

Here’s a list of fares from popular destinations across Islamabad and Rawalpindi:

  • Marriott Hotel to Islamabad Airport – Rs. 230
  • Islamabad Heights to F-6 Markaz – Rs. 220
  • F-11 to Centauras Mall – Rs. 190
  • Millat Colony to Faizabad – Rs. 185

    • Alarming!
When customer call the Uber, At first, Uber should not disclose the customer contact information. That’s a pretty alarming from our culture point of view.
