We Stayed At S Chalet For a Day & Here’s What We Think [Review + Discount]

Since then the hotel has served thousands of foreign and local tourists and travelers.

S Chalet was recently nominated for World Luxury Hotel Award and has already won Customers’ Choice Award by Jovago. Furthermore, S Chalet has an overall rating of 8.3/10 for over a year at Jovago, reflecting its stellar service all around.

S Chalet offers a variety of rooms to its customers, which include:

I booked a Deluxe Room and my experiences was better than most hotels I have stayed at.

• Location — 10/10

For people visiting from different cities and countries, finding a hotel which is easy to locate is an overlooked factor. S Chalet is located at a main road in Sector F-6/3 (just 2 kms from F-6 Super Market).

I personally liked the fact that the hotel is situated at a prime location within Islamabad.

It is within easy reach from all corners of the city, very conveniently located near some famous landmarks of Islamabad such as: The Diplomatic Enclave, The Supreme Court of Pakistan, The Parliament House, The National Zoo, Margalla Hills as well as the main business centre of Blue Area.

• Cleanliness — 9/10

For hotel guests, cleanliness and comfort outweigh the little luxuries like a solid breakfast, pool or in-room deluxe coffee machine. S Chalet has a high standard for cleanliness throughout the hotel.

Pleased with the room and the washroom conditions, I roamed around the hotel and was impressed by how the staff managed to keep each corner of the hotel clean.

• Staff — 9/10

Without a shadow of doubt, the staff plays an enormous role in making your stay at the hotel comfortable. I found S Chalet’s staff to be very friendly yet professional.

The receptionists were soft-spoken and entertained all my queries to the best of their knowledge. The bellhop made sure my luggage was taken care of and waiters were kind enough to ask about my stay while serving food.

• Environment — 9/10

From a psychological stand-point, risks and discomfort outweigh comparative positive benefits five to one, so it’s no wonder travelers pay more attention to the fundamentals such as a soothing environment over lavish pools and fine-dining.

The hotel offered a great sense of aesthetic to improve the overall environment of the hotel; hallways were filled with artwork, various types of plants were placed in the corners and the seating arrangement in the hallway was well set up.

• Security — 8/10

Although the hotel is located in a very secure area, S Chalet still provides good security measures. The security guards are present at the entrance at all times and the hotel is protected by barbed wire to avoid any break-ins. Furthermore, each hallway is equipped with security cameras as well.

• Food — 7/10

Food is an integral part of a hotel and most people choose to dine at the hotel rather than going out. I ordered a number of dishes at S Chalet and I thoroughly enjoyed all of those; the food was fresh and it was prepared when the order was placed.

However, the food is expensive at S Chalet and the preparation time for room delivery is also very high as it takes about an hour and a half to have your food delivered to your room.

Pros and Cons of S Chalet

Pros:

• Front desk was more than helpful.
• Upon getting the key, complimentary tea, coffee or juice is provided.
• Room was well furnished.
• Room had a huge painting for aesthetic.
• Extension was provided.
• Mini fridge was there which had drinks and chocolates.
• There was a safety box and people can set their own passwords.
• Coffee and tea equipment was in the room so you didn’t have to disturb the room service.
• Bathroom, an important part of the guest house, was very clean and contained everything one requires on a visit. Towels were new.
• Slippers were also provided in the room.
• Bed had a spring mattresses and was comfortable. Sheets were new and multiple pillows were provided.
• View was good.
• Extra chairs were in the room.
• Dressing area was wide enough to get dressed.
• Small details which could have been overlooked easily weren’t which added to the value of the hotel.
• Room service was very professional.

Cons:

• Although the quality of the food was great, it was expensive.
• For those who rely on heavy Internet usage, be warned that the Internet speed is rather slow.
  • However, the management assured me that it was a one time thing as Nayatel had been conducting repairs in the area where the hotel was located.
