Transworld Associates (mostly known as TW1), a back-haul internet bandwidth provider, has just launched its consumer segment through which it aims to offer ultra high-speed broadband for home users through FTTH at affordable prices.
Packages
According to details shared with ProPakistani, Transworld Home will offer 30Mbps, 50Mbps, 70Mbps and 100Mbps speeds for home users.
Service comes through the company’s own high-grade FTTH infrastructure with special purpose modems that are fully compatible with 100Mbps speeds, meaning that customers will get the advertised speeds.
Launched in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi simultaneously, below are the prices for various Transworld Home Packages:
Not to mention, Transworld Home is tier 1 ISP that operates multiple submarine cables itself. This effectively means that Transworld Home has direct access to international bandwidth and it won’t have to get internet access through a service provider.
Other than Tranworld, PTCL is the only ISP that has direct access to outside world through submarine cables.
Commenting on the launch, Transworld’s Head of Marketing Bilal Mughal said “We are continuously improving and giving more power to the end users of Internet. With these ground-breaking methods, Transworld is changing the way Pakistan communicates with the outside world.”
Coverage Areas
As with any new ISP, Transworld home is currently limited to certain areas of Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi. But they are going to stretch the service to farther areas based on high-value demand from the customers.
They are currently available at following locations:
