Islamabad Gets Its First Ever VR Focused Gaming Zone

Gaming enthusiasts in Pakistan have been splurging on headsets for quite some time. Skipping through guides for affordable pieces such as the Google cardboard and Samsung gear VR might no longer be needed, at least for gamers living in or near Islamabad.

VR Sensation is a first of its kind virtual reality gaming zone situated at 153H Lower Ground, D Block Phase 4 Civic Center, Bahria Town, Islamabad.

Room-sized and family-friendly, this appears to be the best new thing in town.

Ease of Access

Folks at VR sensation are using the HTC Vive for the PC and PSVR Headsets for the PlayStation 4. These headsets typically cost north of Rs. 60,000 or more (not to mention needing a VR capable PC or a PS4) which makes VR gaming mostly out of reach for the regular Joes and Janes.

A VR gaming zone is a relatively cheaper and easier fix for those who can’t afford to buy the headsets and/or gaming rigs to support them.

There are a lot of games available at VR sensation, including:

  • Zombie Survival
  • First Person Shooters
  • Ocean Explorers
  • Boxing
  • Roller Coaster
  • Ice Skiing
  • Table Tennis
  • Cricket

Pricing and Timing Details

VR Sensation is open from 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Single Player VR costs Rs. 500 for 15 minutes and Rs. 800 for 30 minutes

  • Might be needing a bigger place to set this all up. However its a good step to see something developing in Pakistan.

  • very expensive rs.800 for 30 minutes…..if you go there for 2 months…..you almost waste enough money to buy a new vr headset…..so why not buy the whole system….
