PCB Unveils Schedule for Pakistan-West Indies T20I Series

West Indies agreed to tour Pakistan in November last year but it was delayed due to poor weather and security concerns of West Indian players. The players were reluctant to visit considering the questionable security situation at the time.

However, this time new dates have been revealed for the West Indies tour to Pakistan for a T20I series in March-April.

According to this schedule, three T20 International matches will be played in Lahore at the end of next month. PCB Chariman Najam Sethi confirmed the news of West Indies coming to Pakistan.

Here are the tentative dates for the tour:

Date: March 29, Thursday Pak vs Windies, 1st T20I Venue: Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore

Date: March 31, Saturday Pak vs Windies, 2nd T20I Venue: Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore

Date: April 01, Sunday Pak vs Windies, 3rd T20I Venue:  Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore

It must be mentioned here that PCB Chairman had previously announced that West Indies plans to come for an ODI and T20I tour. But given this news, its safe to assume ODIs are off the charts for now.

PCB Chairman Najam Sethi says the board is also planning a trilateral series between Pakistan, Bangladesh and West Indies. According to him, this 7-match trilateral T20 series will be played in Florida and Houston, United States.
