Samsung Has Finalized the Galaxy S10’s Design: Report

It has hardly been a month since Samsung launched its Galaxy S9/S9+ duo and the internet is already flowing with rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S10.

According to insiders and industry experts, Samsung has allegedly finalized S10’s (or whatever it gets called in the future) design and is currently working on it.

Leaked blueprints suggest a truly bezel-less infinity display resembling Xiaomi’s Mi Mix 2S. It should have a 90%+ screen to body ratio, higher than the Mi Mix 2S which has a small bezel at the bottom housing the front camera.

Other than that, there’s no indication of a notched design and Samsung is not looking to bring any ground-breaking innovation this time.

Foldable Display?

Rumors of foldable displays have been circulating for quite some time now. Huawei is expected to launch their foldable display phone at the end of this year and Samsung might do the same in order to stay competitive. However, S10’s blueprints do not suggest such a display so we can expect foldable displays to come as part of another lineup with a different name.

The industry insider also made other claims, saying that the S10 will come in two S10 and S10+ variants, just like the current S9 duo. S10 will have a display size of 5.8-inches and S10+ 6.3-inches. The display size is slightly bigger than the S9 and S9+ which indicates that the S10 will have smaller bezels than the predecessor.

An on-screen fingerprint sensor is also highly probable and its only logical for Samsung to include this feature to maintain competition. Surely, the company will launch the Galaxy Note 9 first which is anticipated to be unveiled in the coming months.
