I have been using Zong mobile data and also their MBB device in recent past. They have serious over billing issues. You don’t use data and the data is gone with no explanation or help available with Zong CSC on that.

Subscription is tricky. If I finish my data within limited time, I can’t subscribe again without being unsubscribed first. Also if I am using one package, I can’t subscribe another. In this field, Telenor is superb. Where you can subscribe as you wish. Also if you subscribe within the limited time, your left data is added to the next period. And there are more to count.
Hi,
I have a question regarding that number of 7 million 4G subs you have quoted. Your articles says that it’s 50% of the total 4G market share which belongs to Zong.
My question here is, as per latest numbers of 4G subs given on PTA’s website, there are total of around 54M mobile base we currently have in Pakistan. if we cut it down to half (that is 50%), the count would be 27M.
Can you please confirm the stats this article is based upon?

Pricing Analyst of a renowned telecom company
As per PTA, Total cellular base is 150M while 55M is the NGMS (3G+4G) base. While for 4G; Zong = 7+M, Jazz = 4M & Telenor = 2.9M. This means total 4G base = ~14M out of which Zong alone has 7M. I hope this clears the situation.
