With the launch of its Mate 20 phones nearing and rumors heating up, Huawei is bringing the hype up a notch with the release of a new teaser on China’s popular Weibo social media platform. The teaser, which features the words “something new that’s worth exploring”, ends with the outline of the upcoming phones.

Although the leaks have already hinted at a camera module which looks like this, Huawei is now confirming that itself.
The module will come with three lenses at the back, coupled with a LED Flash. Unlike last year’s models where only the Pro version had three camera sensors, this year, the standard version will likely make use of the feature too.
Furthermore, leaked cases and renders shed light on many other features, the most notable of which is the front panel and the water-drop notch at the top of it, though, another variant may come with a different notch style. The phones are likely to come with different resolution displays as well.
The good news for audiophiles is that Huawei is likely to retain the headphone jack on the phones. One of the versions may also indeed come with an in-display fingerprint scanner, as one case doesn’t come with a cutout for a fingerprint scanner at the back.
Lastly, none of the models come with a cutout on the back for a loudspeaker, which may hint at a stereo speaker setup on the phone.
