Suzuki is the Worst Offender of Safety Standards in Pakistan: Report

Suzuki Motors is the leading auto manufacturer in Pakistan, yet it does not conform to the United Nations’ motor vehicle safety regulations.

The non-conformity is limited to Pakistan only, as the company is complying with the standards in its parent country as well as in other regions.

The same behavior has been manifested by the other international automobile manufacturers – Honda and Toyota. However, Suzuki has failed to comply with even a single regulation, according to the latest report.

In fact, the company produces 5-star cars for the European and South-east Asian markets while in Pakistan, it has been producing the same 0-star safety standard model of Mehran for 27 years.

As compared to Suzuki, imported vehicles from Korea, Japan, Middle East, and Europe are produced with significantly superior safety standards.
