Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Imran Khan, has ordered to add Ahmer Kunwar to the special task force for sports following his latest achievement.
Ahmer Kunwar, CEO of TouchSky Group (TSG), recently arranged a travel visit for the legendary footballers Kaka and Figo to launch a footballing event in Pakistan.
Following this, Imran Khan has adviced the special task force to secure the services of Ahmer Kunwar.
The special task force is headed by Ehsan Mani, who is currently the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Ahmer Kunwar met Imran Khan along with Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi “to discuss a long term plan of strengthening football as a sport in the country.”
Following the meeting, Khan said:
In order to provide opportunities to our youth to showcase their talent and bring out Pakistan’s football potential we need to have on ground facilities to develop the sport in the country.
Meanwhile, Kunwar emphasized that Pakistan needs to have representation on the international stage and his organization will work on improving the situation alongside the newly formed partnership with the government.
Recently, Athletico Madrid also announced their partnership with a local company to form a sports academy in Pakistan. The club’s representatives discussed about their plans in depth which looks extremely promising.
There is no denying that football is receiving a lot of traction in Pakistan and the future looks extremely bright.
