Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) cyber crime wing in Multan has arrested a man for allegedly spreading fake pornographic videos of his ex-wife.
The suspect named Naeem Ansari was apprehended on Monday night in Multan. He was accused of sending doctored videos of his ex-wife to her relatives and blackmailing her.
FIA acted on the complaint lodged by the victim who claimed that her ex-husband has been blackmailing her for money, threatening her with the doctored obscene videos.
According to her, Naeem sent the videos to some of her relatives when she refused to follow his directions.
Following the complaint, FIA registered the case and launched an inquiry which led to the arrest of the suspect.
He will be presented before the court on Wednesday.
