Twin Cities’ Police Catch Car Snatchers and Bike Stealing Gang

The Anti-Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) of Islamabad Police has detained 16 car snatchers in the capital and recovered a dozen cars and three bikes in a planned operation.

According to the available sources, Islamabad Police organized special teams to catch the culprits. These snatchers were causing trouble for the citizens for several months. After receiving numerous complaints, the police decided to take action.

Senior police officials have praised the performance of the team involved in the raid while directing them to ensure the safety of citizens and their property at all times.

The recovered vehicles include nine Toyota Corolla cars and three bikes (Honda 125). The police have urged the people to cooperate with them to curb crime from the capital.

Meanwhile, the City Police of Rawalpindi has also arrested a five-member, intercity gang of bike-snatchers in the twin cities, i.e., Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

As per the details, the police have arrested all five members of the gang, recovering 17 bikes on the go. The gang includes Subhan alias Pempal, Yasir alias Kali, Muhammad Qasim, Shahid Khan, and Abdul Wahab.

Furthermore, Karachi police have also arrested a group of four car lifters, which included a woman as well. The group was involved in bike and car snatching cases across the city.
