PTCL is Encouraging Customers to Opt for eBilling and Save Trees

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) encourages its customers to opt for eBilling, instead of receiving monthly paper bills, in its effort to help save the environment.

This initiative will not only create awareness on preserving nature but also gives customers an opportunity to contribute towards this cause.

Moqeem ul Haque, Chief Commercial Officer, PTCL, said,

PTCL, being a national company, takes its responsibility to reduce paper usage throughout our company, that can have a significant impact in going green. We strive to provide our customers with easy and convenient options like eBilling that is secure and saves time.

The company has taken steps to ensure that numerous avenues are open for customers to opt for eBilling. Customers can subscribe online through the PTCL website at ptcl.com.pk/eBill and through the TouchApp (Android & iOS). They can also call on the PTCL helpline 1218, subscribe to eBilling and opt out of receiving paper bills. All new customers are now receiving only eBills.

Furthermore, customers can pay their bills without showing a paper bill using UPaisa. They only need to provide a telephone number with the area code.

PTCL is contributing towards saving the environment and a greener Pakistan.

  • ptcl ko apne bacht nazer ati hai,. Mager apne ptcl pensioner ko un ka haq dena nazer nahi ataa. jo ke s/court se order lye kr dakye kaha rahe hai.

  • It is a good initiative. I really appreciate it. It will take time but ultimately benefit. But company should educate their customers. I myself did not get last month bill and then deposited this month with arrears although it was not my fault even then I was penalized.

  • کمپنی اس سلسلہ میں صارفین کوبل میں کچھ رعایت دے اور ان لاءن بل میں بل کی مکمل تفصیلات دےنیز لوگوں میں آگہی پیداکرنے کی بھی ضرورت ہے

  • I opted multiple times but still getting paper bills instead of email billing.

  • This is all bullshit. PTCL is only thinking for their revenues and high salaries. If they need people to subscribe for E-billing then PTCL will save a huge amount in the form of papers, printers, inks and postman charges.

But unfortunately, these fuc*in people, they are not saying anything regarding giving relation to its customers who will subscribe to e-billing system so it means they just wanted to generate the revenue out of it without giving any relaxation.

PTCL is already charging its customers for the paper bill and its cost as a hidden charges and no one knows how much the amount is.

    All bullshit.. haramzaaday

  • To Save more cost- PTCL on name of saving environment.
Dealing with Semi-Govt Org. only printed considered as legal document as online soft copy may be edited and not considered as Official in Wrong Billing Cases.
Same EVP’s when left PTCL – joined private organization like Nayatel/Transworld focused on underground cabling with more life and broadband secured efficiency,
Currently, whole Wah Cantonment Area is revamp with flourishing fiber cables.

  • In Past : I Received QUBEE Bill Via Email : Never Received in Hard Copy at Home/Office :
Or I Never Print my Billing Email Copy, while i go to Qubee Store For Payment they asked my Mobile # & Give me Payment Slip ?
Even I Pay Many time Via EasyPaisa ?

Why PTCL Are not so smart ?
Why PTCL User want’s PAPER Billing ?

  • PTCL HAS NOT YET ADVERTISED OR COMPAIN FOR E BILLING. First people should be educated then start e BILLING. How people will know the link between paper and trees.
