Suzuki car lovers are in for a shock as Pak Suzuki has announced a price hike of Rs 10,000 to 100,000 for different models. Despite a slight fluctuation in the value of Rupee compared to the US Dollar, the auto company has significantly increased the rates, which is strange.
Analysts believe the price hikes are attributed to increased production costs as well. In the first 8 months of the current fiscal year, Pak Suzuki has suffered an 11% drop in sales which is the reason why the company has passed down the impact on the consumers.
All Pakistan Motor Dealers Association (APMDA) President HM Shahzad termed the hike as ‘unexpected’.
This price hike was quite unexpected because previously, automobile companies increased prices following substantial rupee devaluation, but this time, the value of rupee against dollar is fluctuating within a range of a rupee or less.
Here are the details regarding the updated prices for Suzuki four-wheelers.
