When we talk about Augmented Reality, we are actually referring to technology that overlays information and virtual objects on real-world scenes in real-time. But when we apply the mix of AR and VR into the real world it actually enhances the customer’s experience, enabling the customer to look into the future and designing the property market place according to their needs.
Looking into the changing trends of the real estate market, the AR and VR transformation will definitely leave its mark by benefitting both the real estate agents and customers in saving time.
Incubated at the National Incubation Center in Islamabad, mimAR is all set to re-define the future of customer experience through its augmented reality mixed with virtual reality that will enable the end-user to create and re-create their experiences through their customer-centric design process.
mimAR’ is an Augmented Reality (AR) based solution that aids the real estate marketing industry through the use of AR and VR for the visualization of to-be-constructed buildings.
The team, in addition to two design interns, consists of two fresh graduate co-founders one being an architect and the other an industrial designer. They’ve previously worked on design and visualization projects, and are now keen to disrupt the real estate market in Pakistan.
Looking into the ongoing trends of the real estate industry, mimAR is all set to re-define the future of the user experience for the real estate industry. It mainly targets issues regarding builders who can’t explain the design to clients via conventional visualization techniques of 3D views and animations; clients being unable to understand the design or experience it as on a real site, hence reducing potential sale. To cater to this, some builders use the costly ‘model house’ method.
Our vision is brief and simple, i.e. “We aid Construction Builders sell their designs via AR building visualization! “. As we offer a phone/tablet based AR product, helping to visualize to-be-constructed designs in real time on a real site.
mimAR’s concept is centered around “Experience Good. Build Better” giving the customer the benefit of visualizing their future home or workspace through on-site real-time visualization and virtual reality 360 degrees walkthrough.
What sets mimAR apart from other 3D visualization studios in Pakistan is that they allow viewing the design on the ‘actual site’ with ‘real-time context’, making it a merger of the real and virtual world, i.e. mixed reality. Additionally, the interactive features let clients choose the furniture/fixtures making it ‘customer-centered’ design.
One of the many benefits this technology offers to the industry is that VR/AR Tours will put the “Real” in the real estate. This technology will be highly proficient in unlocking the international investment potential within the world’s real estate markets. The VR/AR will reach buyers globally and create an increase in foreign investments. This is the future of technology and soon buyers will be able to tour properties through it.
