Xiaomi has just released its new and improved dashboard camera. The all-new DDPAI miniONE Dashcam is now equipped with Night Vision and is an upgrade over the previous version.
This is a much-needed feature as dashcams without Night Vision are basically useless at night time and car accidents are more likely to happen in bad lighting conditions.
Design and Features

The miniONE Dashcam has a compact cylindrical design with the circular camera lens in the front right above the brand logo. The camera has a Sony IMX307 star-level large-size image sensor with a 6 layer glass lens that greatly enhances image quality. The Night Vision feature allows you to easily read license plates and clearly see pedestrians on the road far ahead.
The camera can be rotated 360 degrees manually so it is able to record both inside and outside of the car. It also has a voice command feature which allows you to take pictures and mute the device etc. The gravity sensor makes sure the footage stays protected by loop recording whenever it detects a collision or emergency brakes.
The dashcam has built-in eMMC storage with fast reading speeds which saves your recordings in real-time, it also uses the H.265 video codec, which produces recordings with smaller file size. The available storage options are 16GB and 32GB.
Price
The Xiaomi miniONE Night Vision dashcam is available for purchase right now on Xiaomi’s Youpin store. The 16GB variant is going for $44 whereas the 32GB model is priced at $54.
