The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crime Cell has arrested a man for blackmailing and harassing a girl on Facebook.
A Gujranwala man named Arsalan was arrested on Thursday. He had been blackmailing a girl who he befriended two years ago.
According to the complainant, the accused has received thousands of Rupees from her threatening to leak her objectionable images and videos on social media.

Assistant Director of Cyber Crime Wing Asif Ali said after receiving the complaint, they traced Arsalan and raided his house.
The accused was arrested on the spot, and dozens of objectionable videos and pictures were recovered from his phone.
A case has been registered against him under the Cyber Crime Act 2016, he added.
Such cases have become a regular occurrence these days. In January, FIA arrested a man from Lahore’s Ali Town on Raiwind Road for luring women into making unethical videos for blackmailing.

but i think some people just hack or use other resources to access such pics/ vidz…. and blackmail for money that is completely one sided crime….
