Police Arrests Man for Wife’s Complaint of Chatting with Girls on Facebook

Police has arrested a man after his wife complained of his overnight usage of Facebook. The couple are residents of Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The wife filed a complaint at the Mardan Police Station, alleging her husband used to chat with girls on Facebook during the night. The police acted on the complaint and detained the husband.

However, the husband denied the allegations while saying that he does use the social media networking site frequently but not for chatting with girls.

In August 2018, Federal Investigation Agency had arrested a man for blackmailing a woman, threatening her to spread her objectionable pictures on social media.

The women had filed a complaint with the cyber crime wing, alleging that the man, named Saqib Ali, was harassing her and threatening to circulate her personal pictures on social media.

The FIA told the media that Saqib was sending objectionable pictures of the complainant through her relatives on social media. The agency conducted a raid and arrested the suspect while recovering the objectionable pictures from him.
