KP to Launch Helicopter Service to Promote Tourism

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) is planning to start a helicopter service for tourists to make beautiful mountains, picturesque valleys, and rivers accessible in a short time.

KP Minister for Sports and Tourism Muhammad Atif Khan informed media on Tuesday that they were in talks with private companies to initiate the service in far-flung tourist destinations in KP.

He said the initiative will not only allow people to enjoy the aerial scenes of the tourist points but will also make it easier for tourists (especially) from Lahore and Islamabad to access tourist places of the province. He added that the service will also facilitate foreign tourists.
