Hong Kong-based phone maker Infinix has recently announced a new phone – the Infinix Note 6.
Just like its predecessor, this one also falls into the mid-range category. A unique aspect about this phone is that it comes with a stylus called X Pen which lets you draw sketches and take notes “in any space within reach”.
The phone is already on sale in some African countries for just $200 – so the same price point should be expected once it reaches Pakistan.
Design and Display
On the front, it has a 6.01-inch FHD AMOLED display with a regular 18:9 aspect ratio and relatively large bezels on the top and the bottom. There’s a fingerprint sensor at the back which means that there’s not going to be an under-display fingerprint sensor on this one.
There’s a triple-lens camera setup at the back with a standard LED flash. The phone comes in Midnight Black, Mocha Brown and Aqua Blue color schemes. The black one has a touch of gold around the inside of the fingerprint sensor and the blue one comes with a gold-colored power key.
Internals and Storage
The phone is armed with a 2.3 GHz Helio P35 Octa-core processor along with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage with an option to expand the storage up to 256GB via a MicroSD card. It runs a custom XOS 5.0 skin atop Android 9.0 Pie.
Camera
As for the camera, the Note 6 sports a triple-lens primary camera module with a 16MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor with Dual LED Flash.
On the front, it has a 16 MP low-light selfie camera which is equipped with an LED flash of its own. The camera can shoot 1080p videos at 30FPS.
Battery and Pricing
Infinix Note 6 is powered by a non-removable 4,000mAh battery, which is a little disappointing considering how the Note 5 had more capacity. The company claims that the battery can last up to 3 days on a single charge.
The pricing on the phone has not been revealed yet – but as mentioned before, a price range of around $200 should be expected.
