HomeShopping has been one of the leading players in the e-commerce industry for the past eleven years, dealing in the latest hi-tech gadgets and up-and-coming electronics.
HomeShopping believes in providing its customers with wider options and has therefore launched two new product categories for their loyal audience – Toys & Babies, and Books & Stationery.
In Pakistan, 25% of all mothers are active on the internet during the day. Additionally, Pakistan has one of the largest populations of youth. Hence, catering to these audiences with relevant products presented a huge market opportunity.
In the Toys category, HomeShopping is offering items for children of all ages ranging from stuffed toys to educational games. Also, parents who are on the lookout for the best baby clothing, furniture, feeding accessories, and personal care items can find them under HomeShopping’s Mothers and Babies category.
The Books and Stationery categories will equip students with a wide variety of products including Classic and Fiction books, school books, uniforms, pens, writing supplies, and similar products.
“After years of selling electronics, and becoming a leader in that category, we saw a greater market as the youth and mothers of Pakistan. This new venture aims to reach out to those, especially below the age of 18. There is also an exclusive range for the mothers, who are responsible for the important decision making when it comes to household purchases in Pakistan,” Shayaan Tahir – CEO Homeshopping.
The aforementioned two categories were launched back to back on the website in the second quarter of this year, and customers can look forward to two more interesting category launches in the next quarter that will completely change their online shopping experience.
