When it comes to exclusive iPhone applications, FaceTime is one of the fan favorites. However, until now, most iPhone users in Pakistan were deprived of the privilege. For those who don’t know, venders sold FaceTime locked models and FaceTime unlocked models, the latter costed more since it had to be imported. Thus, most of the iPhone users in Pakistan don’t have FaceTime.
Now that things are changing in Pakistan’s smartphone market thanks to PTA, along with other smartphones, iPhones will be imported via official channels and will be sold legally. Since consumers in Pakistan will be paying more courtesy of the tighter tax policies, they might as well get the full package.
Now, for the old iPhone users, all you need to do is install the new iOS 12.4 update. The update clearly states, “Enables FaceTime video and audio calling for iPhone and iPad devices sold in Pakistan”.
The following models will be able to support FaceTime in Pakistan:
- iPhone 5s
- iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus
- iPhone 7, 7 Plus
- iPhone 8, 8 Plus
- iPhone XR, Xs, Xs Max
Once the update is installed, all you have to do is restart your iPhone and you will be able to use FaceTime. In case you are wondering how the update will be installed, follow the steps:
- Ensure your iPhone is fully charged.
- Create a backup for your data.
- Go to settings, then in general settings locate software update. Click on Download and Install iOS 12.4 update.

Face Time locked phone are only for Saudi and UAE . It was never ever blocked in pakistan . So cheap vendors / khapiay who import locked models from these countries trap buyers by saying that is is blocked in pakistan.
