Ever since Sri Lanka has agreed to play a limited-overs series in Pakistan, the cricket craze has gone up in the country. Cricket lovers are anxiously waiting for cricket fields to lit up once again.
Pakistan is scheduled to host Sri Lanka for 3 ODIs and as 3 T20s between September 27 to October 9. The matches will be played in Karachi and Lahore.

With series just around the corner, the cricket board is likely to put the tickets for the series on sale in the mid-September. More details will unfold in the coming days.
Meanwhile, the first meeting on the preparations of the series was called on Tuesday. Headed by the Managing Director Wasim Khan, the head of all departments attended the meeting.
MD PCB urged the members to pace up the efforts and be fully ready to organize a historic cricketing event.
Among other things, the logo, sponsorship, and tickets distribution for the event were also discussed during the meeting.
After much uncertainty, the series was confirmed by the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) and PCB in a joint statement.

Pakistan was initially planning on hosting Sri Lanka for a Test match either in Karachi or Lahore. In the dramatic turn of events, it ended with the Islanders agreeing on a playing a white-ball series here.
The Test series has been transferred to December.
