Pakistan stock exchange had failed to resume trade due to a technical fault on Monday.
“Due to some technical issues identified the trading system of the exchange could not be launched, therefore trading has been temporarily suspended by PSX,”
However, the market resumed its trading at 10:15 am. The market was scheduled to resume trade at 9:30 am. In a separate notice, the PSX management notified the updated timings for today. The market will now close at 3:45 pm instead of 3:30 pm and the post-close session will now take place at 4:30 pm instead of the normal time of 4 pm.
This is the third breakdown after October 2017 when the trading was suspended due to a technical fault in the trading and exposure management system.
