The deadline for the registration process of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Naya Pakistan Housing Program (NPHP) is ending today.
The registrations were opened on July 15 and continued for three months. If the government does not extend the date, the process will end today at 5 pm.
The affordable housing scheme for the underprivileged is one of the flagship projects of the PTI government. It was PM Imran Khan’s top electoral promise in which he promised to provide 5 million low-cost houses across five years of his tenure.
The first phase of the project was launched in October last year, and so far, over 1.15 million people have registered for the housing scheme.
Interested citizens can apply at NPHP’s various e-sahulat branches across the country or via an online portal (www.nphp.nadra.gov.pk). The non-refundable registration fee is Rs. 250 for each entry.
Only one member of the family can apply for residence. Families with no house of their own will be preferred.
