In order to bring more people into the tax net, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is continuously making efforts to facilitate the citizens.
The authority has introduced alternate delivery channels to allow easy payment of taxes. The modes of payment include ATM, mobile banking apps and internet banking websites.
According to FBR, the payment can be completed in three easy steps:
- Get PSID for the intended tax from FBR website
- Choose your preferred payment option and use this PSID to pay FBR taxes. Note that the bill payment screen shall reflect FBR.
- The payment status will be updated within 3 hours of confirmation and you will receive a receipt on email and SMS.

The new modes are aimed at reducing incidences of errors and delays in tax payments. The ADCs are easier, and user-friendly, in line with FBR’s policy to facilitate the taxpayers.
