Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches scheduled in Lahore and Rawalpindi between Thursday and Sunday might be called off due to bad weather.
As per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a new westerly weather system is entering Pakistan on Wednesday that will grip the upper parts of Punjab including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad and surrounding areas.
As a result, heavy rains are expected from Wednesday night or Thursday morning, which will continue until Saturday night or Sunday morning.
The PSL 2020 matches scheduled on these days will be very unlikely to go as planned. If the rain comes as hard as expected, these matches will be affected:
|Wednesday||4th March||Islamabad United vs. Lahore Qalandars||Gaddafi Stadium Lahore|
|Thursday||5th March||Peshawar Zalmi vs. Quetta Gladiators||Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium|
|Friday||6th March||Karachi Kings vs. Multan Sultans||Gaddafi Stadium Lahore|
|Saturday||7th March||Peshawar Zalmi vs. Islamabad United||Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium|
|Saturday||7th March||Lahore Qalandars v Quetta Gladiators||Gaddafi Stadium Lahore|
Earlier, the Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United match scheduled on last Saturday at Pindi Stadium was washed out due to persistent rain, with both teams getting a point each.
