Vivo’s Nex lineup of flagship smartphones is known to be the company’s experimental series of devices that introduce unique new design elements and features. Last year’s Vivo Nex 3 5G featured extremely curved edges on the sides of the display similar to the Huawei Mate 30, a feature that the company calls a “waterfall display”.
The phone is about to get a successor soon, and rumors are suggesting that it is going to bring features from Vivo’s recently unveiled Apex 2020 concept phone.
Being a 2020 flagship, the Vivo Nex 3s 5G will come with the Snapdragon 865 SoC and rumors claim that it will feature 55W fast charging as well. It is expected to retain its curved “waterfall display” and may feature the enhanced OIS technology recently showcased on the Vivo Apex 2020.
Its triple camera setup at the back, inside what the company calls the “Oreo” camera module, will have a 64MP main lens, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and an additional 13MP telephoto lens. The 16MP pop-up front camera will have its own LED flash unit.
The Vivo Nex 3s 5G will be officially announced on March 10 and more details are expected to surface until then.
