Markazi Tanzeem-e-Tajran Pakistan has given a three-day deadline to the government to end the countrywide lockdown, allowing the resumption of businesses countrywide.
President Markazi Tanzeem-e-Tajran Pakistan Muhammad Kashif Chaudhry has urged the government to decide on reopening complete business activity in the country within 72 hours.
In case the government does not end the lockdown, the traders themselves are bound to take the decision, resulting in ending the lockdown and resuming business activities.

Chaudhry stated that all traders had fallen victim to the politics between the federal and provincial governments. He said that the traders association will not allow the economic murder of traders and workers in the name of lockdown, which is not acceptable to them.
He was upset that the federal government had not provided any relief to traders on utility bills or in the shape of easy loans and payment of rents.
He also noted that the government in the past took voluntary cooperation of traders as their weakness.”But any lip-service from the government will not serve the purpose,” he maintained. He urged the government to be serious regarding the traders’ problems and lift the lockdown.
