On the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Pakistan Television (PTV) will broadcast Taraweeh prayers live from Masjid al-Haram.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Firdaus Ashiq Awan, said this in a tweet on Thursday.
She highlighted that the holy month of Ramadan is about to begin. However, during these testing times, many will not be able to go to mosques to attend Taraweeh.

For their ease, the government has decided to broadcast live Taraweeh so that people can stay in their homes and participate in Taraweeh prayers and collect blessings.
As per the video message, Taraweeh prayers will be broadcast live every night at 9:30 pm on PTV News.
