Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman and Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, has denounced the reports of his death shared widely on Indian social media platforms.
While speaking to a local news channel, Qureshi said that the Indian social media lobby has modified his Wikipedia profile and added 4th July 2020 as his death date. The reports triggered a state of panic among family, friends, and PTI workers, Qureshi added.

PTI Vice Chairman has said that he is recovering from the COVID-19 infection and requested his supporters not to pay heed to any fake news regarding his health.
Qureshi had tested positive for the Coronavirus on 3 July after exhibiting mild symptoms of the infection.
Since then, the minister has been in quarantine and discharging official responsibilities from his home.

Recently, Zain Qureshi, Shah Mahmood’s son, also tested positive for the Coronavirus.
In a Twitter post, Zain wrote that he and his father are in isolation and doing well, and are expected to make a complete recovery from the disease.
