Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a 20 percent discount on airfares for senior citizens on domestic flights. This is besides a reduction in fares on domestic and inbound flights.
The national airline has revised its fares for the third time in less than two weeks. The downward revision of up to 20 percent has come on domestic flights from Faisalabad to Karachi.
A one-way trip between the two cities will cost Rs. 7,986. Similarly, Rs. 10,191 per ticket will be charged on flights from Sukkur to Islamabad.
There is another 15 percent off on inbound flights from Toronto, Canada to Pakistan.
The price cuts will be available on bookings secured before September 16, while the traveling dates are from September 7 to November 14.
Previously, the airline has also introduced a low-fare package on flights between Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore with a 20kg baggage limit. A one-way ticket for flights between these cities will cost Rs. 7,400, while the two-way fare will be Rs. 13,500.
The single trip with 35kg of luggage will be Rs. 8,400, and a round-trip will fare Rs. 15,000.
The discounted fares are aimed to attract more passengers amid the current crisis.
