Samsung Galaxy M31 First Impressions & Overview [Video]

Samsung Galaxy M31 is now finally available in Pakistan, months after its official international release. The mid-range phone offers the biggest battery we’ve ever seen on a Samsung Smartphone alongside decent specs.

We at ProPakistani got our hands on the device and here are our first impressions.

Design and Display

The Galaxy M31 has a “glastic” finish on the back, which is a glossy glass-like finish on top of a polycarbonate chassis.

The overall design is similar to the most recent Galaxy A series and M series phones with a large rectangular camera bump on the back. However, unlike the others, this one has a fingerprint sensor on the back and a classical notch for the front camera instead of a punch-hole.

The display is a 6.4-inch AMOLED panel with 1080p resolution, 403 ppi pixel density, and the Gorilla Glass 3 on top for protection.

As for the camera setup, the main sensor is a 64MP wide-angle unit which is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide shooter, a 5MP macro lens, and another 5MP lens for depth sensing.

The front camera is a 32MP shooter housed in the waterdrop notch. The camera app is loaded with features such as portrait, panorama, Night Mode, and much more. We have included camera samples in our video for all camera lenses, so make sure to check them out.

Internals and Battery

Under the hood, you get Samsung’s Exynos 9611 SoC, which is one of its mid-range chipsets that comes with a 2.3GHz CPU,  the Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, and up to 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1. Though one of the highlight features in terms of internals is the massive 6,000 mAh battery that should easily be able to last the phone more than 2 days of moderate use.
