Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training has released a shortened version of the syllabus of SSC and HSSC classes for the academic year 2020-21.
According to the official statement issued by the Ministry, the decision has been taken keeping in view the fact that the academic process has resumed after nearly a delay of 3 months due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the ongoing academic year will span over just 6 months (September to February).

However, the format and style of question papers will remain unchanged despite the reduction in syllabus.
Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has uploaded the shortened versions of the syllabus of SSC and HSSC at its official website, both of which are attached below as well.

Previously, the Punjab government had decreased the syllabus of all classes up to intermediate for the academic year 2020-21.
The old one reduced syllabus was much more good for the students as that was can be completed in the short limited time and this one new syllabus( especially of maths ) is too lengthy to be covered. Their must be a final dicision on the reduced syllabus and the old one reduced syllabus should be implemented .
nothing is reduced in the new reduced syllabus. what kind of #reduced syllabus is this???
I am Adnan . I am in United Arab Emirates, Ras Al Khaimah .I request fbise that the first reduced syllabus for SSC 1 was better than the new one. This syllabus cannot be covered in 3 months. Because schools are closed so plz implement the First Reduced syllabus for SSC 1
