Babar Azam has been the spine of the Pakistani batting line-up for over two years, but former captain, Inzamam-ul-Haq, believes that he still has room for improvement in his game which will benefit the national side.

His comments came after Pakistan faced defeat against Zimbabwe in the Super Over of the third ODI. Babar and Wahab Riaz were the only batsmen who put up a fight as Pakistan failed to chase a target of 279.
Babar Azam scored 125 runs, while Wahab scored 52 runs off 56 balls. Both the batsmen were unable to finish off the game as they fell during the final stages of the game.
Inzamam claimed that had Babar taken more responsibility, he would have won the match with at least 10 to 15 balls remaining. Inzamam said that Babar is a great player and has a variety of shots in his game, but he needs to improve his game during the death overs as the requirements in the modern game are different.

Inzamam added that Babar needs to learn how to hit big and successfully chase a target. He needs to learn to keep the required run rate in check and score a boundary when required, the legendary batsman added.
If Babar Azam is scoring so many runs he should be able to single-handedly win matches like these. If Pakistan is still not winning then it is a point of concern,” concluded.

If you go through Babar Azam,s record. He always played for himself and never care for other team members.Allways play the last ball of the over to keep himself engaged,never help the tailenders, very slow scorer as in the last match he scored 125 for himself without any sixer and very few fours

Very poor show by Pakistan team.we can’t blame only Babar Azam who show efforts to win match. Our top order failed to perform against low rank team which is alarming situation. What will we do against top rank teams???

Babar is a good player but he is not a good finisher , being a captain and the key player or the team he should finish like virat, English captain etc
What about his own parchi bhanja Imam-Ul-Haq. How rude this molvi is. Instead of praising Babar that he dragged game till end otherwise we had lost it early. He’s pointing finger on Babar. That’s why Pakistan cricket never at top becuase of these kind of people who criticize all the time.
