Usman Qadir Shares a Heartfelt Message For Late Abdul Qadir After Series Win

Young Pakistan leg-spinner, Usman Qadir, has admitted that he missed his father immensely following his performances in the T20I series against Zimbabwe.

He made these remarks in a social media post on Wednesday. Taking to Twitter, the talented spinner, who won the man of the series award in his first-ever outing, wrote:

Qadir, the son of the legendary Abdul Qadir, made his T20 International debut in the first T20I and finished the series as the highest wicket-taker with eight wickets in three games at an average of 7.50 and an economy rate of 5.45.

His best performance came in the final T20I, where he registered his career-best figures of 4-13 in four overs. Qadir’s father passed away in September 2019 after suffering a heart attack.
