Imran Khan Removes Advisers and SAPMs from Cabinet Committees

Imran Khan has terminated the contracts of some of his advisers and the Special Assistants to the Prime Minister (SAPM).

The Adviser to Prime Minister for Commerce and Investment, Abdul Razak Dawood’s membership to the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) has been revoked, and he is also no longer a member of the Cabinet’s Committee on Energy and Cabinet’s Committee on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

The Advisor to the Prime Minister on Institutional Reforms and Austerity, Dr. Ishrat Hussain, has been removed from his post as well. He is also no longer a member of the Cabinet’s Committee on Privatisation and Industrial Reforms and the Cabinet’s Committee for the CPEC.

Similarly, Special Assistants Nadeem Babar and Shahzad Arbab are no longer members of the Cabinet’s Committee on Industrial Reforms.
