Motorola is Making a Snapdragon 400 Powered 5G Phone: Leak

The Lenovo-owned Motorola is working on a couple of phones for 2021 including the Moto G Stylus 2021, a flagship codenamed Nio, and two mid-range phones codenamed Capri and Capri Plus. According to a recent leak, this is not all that Motorola has in store for its consumers.

The company is working on another smartphone codenamed Ibiza. The leaks detail that the smartphone will be powered by the mysterious SM4350 5G-ready Snapdragon chipset, which is codenamed as “Holi.” The said mobile platform could be the upcoming Snapdragon 4-series chipset that is expected to debut this quarter. Reportedly, the chipset will come with support for 5G connectivity.

Motorola Ibiiza is coming

In terms of specifications, the handset is expected to arrive with mid-range features including an HD+ resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, 4 GB RAM, 128 GB onboard storage, 5000 mAh battery, and Android 11.

The smartphone will feature a 13 MP selfie camera and a 48 MP triple sensor camera system on the back. The complimentary camera sensors will include a 5 MP Samsung S5K5E9 macro lens, and a 2 MP OmniVision (OV02B1B) depth sensor.

There is no official word regarding the device and we don’t know the exact name of the phone. However, it is likely to break covers as one of the cheapest 5G phones in the market.
