Fact Check: Is Norwegian Army Using Made in Pakistan Uniforms?

Pictures of Norwegian troops donning a completely new and redesigned uniform while training in the freezing arctic weather have been doing the rounds on social media lately.

Social media users have asserted that the uniform of the army of the Nordic state has been made in Pakistan.

However, it has now come to light that these pictures are from a military startup company which specializes in combat uniform and gear.

NorArm Tactical, the company in question, was founded in 2019 by a serving member of the Norwegian Armed Forces and his veteran friend with combat experience from Afghanistan and Iraq.

Meanwhile, the combat uniform which bears the ‘Made in Pakistan’ logo is actually the company’s ‘Project Alpha One’ and ‘Project Alpha Three’ which were conceived when both owners were on a visit to Pakistan.

A quick visit to the company’s website shows that Project Alpha One includes a combat shirt and pants while Project Alpha Three comprises a hooded combat shirt.
