The news report states that the police sprung into action once the Chief Traffic Police Officer (CTO), Zafar Buzdar, learned about the development. The CTO formed two special teams that were dedicated to locating the culprits and bringing them to justice.

The search had reportedly been going on for 4 days, however, the owner of the vehicle finally presented himself and the child before the authorities. The police force fined the vehicle owner Rs. 1000 and warned the child to never repeat such a careless act again.

  • Got away with a slap on the wrist! I am sure the police could have charged them with more counts of fines other than just underage driving (like driving without seat belt etc, which is clear from footage). A larger fine would have taught the kid and his parents a valuable lesson for life. Its a miracle no one was injured during this act.
