Hafeez and Sarfaraz went head to head on Twitter recently after Hafeez called Rizwan the number one wicket-keeper of the side. Sarfaraz did not take it lightly and assumed it was an attack on him, as he was the previous number one wicket-keeper of the national side.
Sarfaraz reminded Hafeez that whichever wicket-keeper has played for the national side is the best available option and is the deserving “number one” wicket-keeper. Sarfaraz praised the performances of Mohammad Rizwan and wished that he performs for years to come.
It is reported that PCB officials stepped in and discussed the issue with both the players. The players have since patched up, and the issue is reportedly resolved.
