Pakistanis Were UAE’s Safest Drivers in 2020: Study

The roads of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 2020 were safer due to Pakistani drivers, who were found to have been involved in the least number of road accidents according to the Middle East’s leading statistics comparison site Yallacompare,

The statistics have been outlined under a comprehensive breakdown by nationality and revealed that Pakistani drivers had been responsible for a marginal 2.5 percent of the total road accidents reported last year.

Commending Pakistani drivers for the accomplishment, the CFO Yallacompare, Jonathan Rawling remarked,

It’s interesting to discover that according to our user-declared data, Pakistani drivers were the best in the UAE in 2020, from the point of view of making insurance claims.

Discussing the possible determinants of these statistics, Rawling added:

The lower number of claims is more likely to be attributable to less travel and lower car usage due to the virus lockdown, curfews imposed and working from home.
