Razzaq Proves How Pakistan is Much More Talented in Cricket Than India

Former Pakistan all-rounder, Abdul Razzaq, believes that it is unfair to compare Pakistan with India as Pakistan has produced more talented players than its neighbors.

He said that the Indian captain, Virat Kohli, cannot be compared to Babar Azam because they have not played much cricket against each other. He said that although Kohli is a great player and has performed well against Pakistan, it is unfair to compare them.

Razzaq said that comparisons should be made historically, as Pakistan has brought forward more talented players than India. He said that comparisons should be made with great players such as Inzamam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Yousuf, Javed Miandad, Saeed Anwar, Zaheer Abbas, and Ijaz Ahmed.

Razzaq added that comparisons should only be made when the two battle it out against each other on the cricket pitch. “Virat Kohli and Babar Azam are completely different players. If we want to compare the two, then it’s important to hold matches between Pakistan and India and then judge who is a better player,” he said.

Razzaq praised Babar Azam for his brilliant performances and backed the Pakistani captain to break multiple international records. Razzaq said that Babar had played under him for ZTBL for around five to six years, and due to his undeniable quality, he was undroppable. Razzaq added that the PCB and the management should look after Babar as he is an asset for Pakistan.

Razzaq is currently the head coach of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He led them to three titles in the season, winning the National T20 Cup and Pakistan One Day Cup while they were the joint-winners of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

Razzaq said that Pakistan national team should stick to local coaches as it is much easier for the players to communicate and understand them. He is against the idea of foreign coaches as he believes it creates a communication gap between the management and the players.
